Training, Inc. is a national network of local job training organizations, creating and sharing best practices to strengthen their collective performance as they prepare a qualified and diverse workforce to meet employers’ expectations in today’s work environment.

Our innovative use of a workplace simulation approach, strong employer relationships, and results-oriented programming leads to employees with the work ethic and confidence to achieve high job retention rates. Training, Inc. programs including Computerized Office Skills, Medical Office, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Commercial Drivers License are meeting the staffing needs of more than 500 employers across the country.

More than 18,000 graduates and their families have improved their lives by using Training, Inc. as a "bridge" to good jobs, higher wages, and further education.

Since 1975, Training, Inc. has partnered with business, government, education, and other community-based organizations to improve training program outcomes and ensure a significant, lasting impact on local communities. Financial contributors realize a high return on their investment as Training, Inc. graduates and their families become more self-sufficient and more engaged citizens.

Training, Inc. member sites are currently located in Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Newark, and Pittsburgh, with new affiliated organizations in Tampa, Providence, RI, and Racine, WI.

Through the Training, Inc. National Association, technical assistance and staff training are available to organizations in other cities who want to start new Training, Inc. programs or incorporate the Training, Inc. approach into their existing programs.
